Having been a member of Synchro Canada for upwards of 13 years, a World Champion, and an Olympic Medalist, Claire Carver-Dias truly gets it. She understands what it means to be at the top of your game – the good, the bad, and the ugly. And she knows the importance of knowledge of, and preparing for “what’s next.” As a member of the Won For All community, Claire looks forward to not only sharing her story with our athlete clients, but also teaching them how to achieve their full potential, both in competition and out.

Following her athletic career, Claire founded Clearday, an executive coaching consultancy through which she combines her passion for helping others achieve their full potential, appreciation of effective business coaching techniques, and a keen understanding of teaming, goal-setting, performance management, and communications.

As a highly sought-after Communications & Presentation Skills Coach, holding a Ph.D. specializing in English and Communications and a Cornell MBA, Claire’s professional life successfully straddles the worlds of sport, business, and academia. Claire is also a podcaster, an award-winning writer, and a professor in the Management Department at the University of Toronto.

Formerly, Claire was a Director on the board of the Coaching Association of Canada and President of AthletesCAN. She served as Chef de Mission for Team Canada at the 2018 and 2022 Commonwealth Games. Currently, she is Chair of the Canadian Olympians (OLY) Commission and a board member for Commonwealth Sport Canada, holds a coaching certification from the International Coaching Federation, and is certified in administering several psychometric assessments.
