Darrell Burt brings a breadth of financial and legal knowledge and experience to Won For All along with a love of sports, the business of sport, and the role of oversight bodies.
Darrell spent 17 years at CIBC World Markets in their Investment Banking and Capital Markets Groups, most recently as a Managing Director in Debt Capital Markets.
His experience included a broad range of public equity and public and private debt financings for a range of corporate and infrastructure clients.
Prior to joining CIBC, Darrell practiced law for four years, focussing on corporate and commercial transactions. He brings a well-earned reputation for integrity and credibility among clients and colleagues.
An avid skier and hockey player, Darrell has devoted significant time to minor hockey, including as a coach, manager, and an executive with Lower Lakes Female Hockey League and Ontario Women’s Hockey Association.
Darrell has a BA (Hons) degree in Economics and Mathematics from Queen’s University, a JD from the University of Manitoba, and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
Darrell and his wife, Sheila, and their family live in Toronto, Ontario
