Following an 8-year professional baseball career, Dr. Allen Shrum earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Lipscomb University and an MBA in Management from Cumberland University (CU). While at CU, he worked closely with their MBA program director to develop the CUMBA Alumni Networking program, which still exists today and subsequently went on to earn his Doctorate in Business Administration from Trevecca Nazarene University, with a research focus on organizational development.

With over 20 years of experience in leadership and business management, working with many executives and business owners, as a Won For All Bench Coach, Allen is passionate and excited about working with athletes transitioning from professional sports. His focus is to enhance their knowledge and better equip them in their academic, career, and professional development. Allen has worked as an athletic liaison for collegiate and professional athletes, insurance broker, commercial real estate consultant, and management consultant centered around informing the public about labor-related development issues, challenges, attitudes, and trends for athletes.

A thought leader in business management principles specializing in organizational development, currently, Allen is working as a management consultant with Productivity Consultants & Career Support Services (PCCSS), a transformative workforce development firm that informs the public about labor-related development issues, challenges, attitudes, and trends.
