Event Manager:

Key Responsibilities:
- Work with members of the Won For All leadership team to build event budgets and event outlines
- Work with members of the Won For All leadership team to create and identify sponsorship packages and opportunities
- Handle site and vendor selection and negotiate the best possible rates and terms
- Manage all aspects of an event from pre-planning, determining resource needs, pre-event marketing, and on-site coordination, to post-event follow up – with the goal of ensuring a world-class experience for our event guests
- Communicate with the marketing team to create effective advertisements for each event (when applicable), and on crafting marketing materials such as signage, event programs, event landing pages, etc.
- Conduct post-event data and strategic analysis to inform future events
- Communicate with internal and external teams of any updates, concerns, and arranging of details as needed
- Participate in AdHoc assignments as needed
Required Skills and Experience:
- 2+ years experience planning and executing events of various sizes (both in-person and virtual)
- Post-secondary education in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Business (OR sufficient experience)
- Ability to manage external vendor resources and relationships
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- An eye for selecting venues, and forums, that align the Won for All’s brand and a high-quality experience for our event guests
- Knowledge, or demonstrated passion, of the athlete/sport space, preferably first-hand as a varsity level athlete, or higher
