Maren Walseth

As a former college athlete and pro basketball player turned executive & leadership coach, Maren Walseth encourages others to stand taller, reach further, and dig deeper. It’s this influence, motivation, and dedication that makes Maren an asset and great addition to the Won For All team.
Maren is a Certified Professional Business Coach by the Professional Business Coach Alliance (PBCA) and a Core Essentials Graduate from Coach U (CEG). She is certified to use the Extended DISC behavioral assessment tool and the One Page Business Plan in her coaching engagements and is also a member of the ICF.
She has been a teacher, coach, and mentor her entire career. A 10-year assistant coach and 5-year head coach, at the Division 1 level, Maren has leadership and management experience in high stress and public spheres including The United States Naval Academy, Penn State University, and North Dakota State University.
Known as a problem solver, motivator, and relationship builder, she uses her executive coaching practice – Elevating Leaders – to help college coaches to find the answers they need to solve the challenges they face every day.
As a student-athlete at Penn State University, Maren earned all-conference honors, competed in the 2000 NCAA Final Four, and graduated with a degree in broadcast media. She then went on to play professionally in the WNBA and Ligue Féminine de Basketball in France.
Maren lives in Philadelphia, PA, and enjoys being active, cheering on her favorite teams, and spending time with her family. She also serves as a college basketball television analyst.
