Mike O’Connor, a professional ballplayer for 12 seasons, brings his passion for mentoring and sharing his athlete to executive experiences to Won For All as a Managing Member.
Drafted in 2002 by the Montreal Expos, O’Connor played professional baseball for 12 seasons, including 4 seasons in the MLB before his retirement in 2014.
Mike is a Vice President at Assured Partners – the 11th largest insurance brokerage in the country and provides Property & Casualty Insurance, Employment Benefits, Bonding, Personal and Life Insurance. Assured Partners helps Public and Privately owned Businesses, Private Equity firms, Family Offices, High Net Worth Individuals, and Professional Athletes with their insurance needs throughout the country.
He continues to stay active in the community. Mike is involved with Habitat for Humanity Metro Maryland, the Maryland State Athletic Hall of Fame, and the Major League Baseball Alumni Association. Additionally, he serves on the Business Advisory Council for the Comptroller of the State of Maryland, Peter Franchot.
“I am excited to be part of the Won For All community and help athletes transition from their playing career. I wish I would have had the support of Won For All when I retired in 2014,” says Mike.
Graduating with a degree in Finance, from George Washington University in 2002. He now lives in Bethesda, Maryland with his wife, Courtney, daughter, Olivia, and son Brooks.
